Episode Summary 
In yet another episode destined for the "best episode EVER" archives, professional fashion/portrait photographer Lindsay Adler Joined Scott and RC (filling in while Matt was out on the road) in the studio to discuss inspiration and the business of being a professional photographer. What ensued was one of the most insightful discussions to date. As an added treat, it was revealed that Lindsay is also a late addition to the Photoshop World instructor roster and will be imparting even more of her inspirational and savvy business techniques this March in Washington DC.

[...] The Grid Episode 41: During my time at Kelby Media in Tampa, I was invited to appear on the live TV show “The Grid” with Scott Kelby and RC. I had met RC before, and he is such a sweet man… and has the cutest daughter in the world. This was the first time I met Scott, and I loved how easy it was to talk to him. He is a big, sweet teddy bear that enjoyed making me look good. Â The response from me being on this program was huge! We discussed inspiration, creativity, and basically a few tips on where/how I get my ideas. If you click the link above you can watch the episode along with a variety of links that I talk about. Those two guys were so sweet, made me feel so comfortable, and honestly made me feel like a rockstar. They talked me up, gave me support and were just so easy to talk to. I like the grid a lot and all the guests. This is BY FAR my favorite episode! Lindsay is fantastic! I can’t wait for her class on KT. I can’t make it to DC but you have to bring her to FL the next time Photoshop World is here and I would get my ticket just to go to her classes. Thank you Kelby for exposing us to amazing Photographers like Lindsay! I’m so excited I’m going to watch the show again!

Excellent show, while I understand the time constraint, I would have loved to listen to more Q&A; so much great information. Maybe bring Lindsay back as a return guest?

Lindsay’s advices of “chase your business” is a very good one, and of course valid for any area, not only photography. Joe Grimes mentioned the same thing a couple of months ago “Make the phone calls”. But this social media approach is very interesting.
