Excellent tips and really good to have Dave back with the guys. Corey provided, as usual, a somewhat complex (for me) tip that will require multiple viewings to grasp the intricacies of. Terrific way to learn! Thanks to each of you.

Great tip about being able to get back to ACR from Photoshop with that script.

  11. Jeff says:

In need of a trick! I use a tablet, an old bamboo. Sometimes the color temperature in lr3 is pretty much squeezed to the right. I find the adjustment slider swing too wildly. Is there a key to slow down or change the scale of adjustment.

I know less coffee might help, anything else?

Loved the show. But watching scenic, made me think of how would you do something.

If you want to create a faux sunset, how would you get the white of the clouds colored like in a sunset, but leave the blacks uncolored? I tried overlay but got the exact opposite result. I am stumped. Any ideas?

  32. Alexander says:

Hi guys. Great show. I have learned a lot of tricks from your episodes.

I would like to see a quick tutorial on shadows. I am not talking about basic shadows under a type or an object. I mean shadows cast through the air.

Imagine a bird flying through the air with sun rays beaming down on it but the bird cuts through the light casting dark bird-shaped ray through the space.

Thank you for the podcasts full of useful information.

  33. Chuck Neeley says:

    Appreciate the smart object tips!

  34. don says:

Great show guys. Corey’s use of the displacement map was really cool. For Dave’s guide question the answer is Command/Control ; I have been watching your show for a long time now and I always learn a trick or 2.

  35. Rick Spitzer says:

The Russell Brown action is super!!
