Cory, don’t know if it was intentional but the end result of you tutorial kind of reminded me of the effect used in the Sherlok Holms movie where they took scenes from the movie and made them look as if they were old prints or newspaper articals. Loved it. If the effect is in your book I’ll have to go back thru it because I totally missed it the first time thru. Thanks and keep up the good work, I always learn sooooo much from you guys.

Great show today. I particularly enjoyed the tip about using the color selection tool to select other than colors. For example, picking out just the shadows, or just the midtones. Selecting a skin tone (and filling with white), and selecting shadows (and filling with black) gets some really cool dramatic effects. Did the skintone fill with white, over a black background for a really dramatic effect.
One thing though. The podcast downloaded in iTunes truncated to around 19 minutes. I had to watch the re remainder of the episode on your website. Just thought I’d let you know!
