Waiting excited the arrival of my CS6 software. Looking forward to replace some Cinema 4D work I do with the new Photoshop 3D features. When is photoshop world coming back to Miami?

  28. Gene Kimball says:

I upgraded to PS CS5 Extended back in November but found 3D something of a chore to comprehend. I have recently upgraded to PS CS6 Extended and find not only 3D but a plethora of other PS changes that have made the newer system easier to manage and control. Of course, I would be lost without the good people at Kelby.com. Thanks to all for your inspiring efforts and creative talent in managing a system as robust as Photoshop and Lightroom.

  29. Melissa says:

  34. Rodrigez D says:

Thanks for the episode! I’d like to know if there were any improvements to smart objects in cs6,

  35. Randy says:

Great show guys ! Fun book Corey ( Dirty Tricks Done Dirt Cheap) . I started watching a few weeks ago and getting thru the back catalog. Can you talk about dirt masks and creating grungie brushes. A segment on heightmaps and normal maps would be cool too. Can you give me a shout out and, of course, give me some free swaaag. lol Cheers dudes.

  36. George Thompson says:

    Great show, great content.

  37. Jerry says:

I’ve installed CS6 and I’m really intrigued by the new 3D tools. I’ve always been interested in learning more about how to incorporate 3D into my photography and design and these new tools look to make it much more straight forward. I appreciate all the Photoshop Guys efforts, but really inspired by the creative ideas that Cory has/will be showing on 3D. Great show and keep up the good work, I’ll be watching.

  38. Gerry says:

I’m a video professional. I’d like to see what Photoshop CS6 can do with video that I can’t do with Premiere Pro CS6.

  39. You guys are the best…. and this contest is a hard one to win I’ve decided! Thanks.. RSB

  40. OK, you use laptops but what about the accuracy of monitors for photo work? I’ve heard that most LCDs are not up to the task and are inferior to CRTs.

  41. Suzanne Offner says:

I’d love to see more on editing video in CS6 – I’ve played with it and it looks like you can edit a clip as a smart object and apply different effects to it. I’ve tried oil paint – how far can you take this? Could I apply something like a Nik to Topaz plug in?

  42. Shaun white says:

Thanks guys for another cool show.
With Pete’s shot using the Kangaroo sign we used to tell people that where visiting for other countries that when they see the sign driving along a road be sure to keep an eye up and look out for a Quants Jumbo landing.
Yes it was nasty but very funny when they would look up then look back me. hahahaha.

  43. Allan says:

More than a tad tedious is many ways although there was some great information from a couple of the guys, Cant RC give it a rest some time??

  52. gerry slater says:

I bought Corey’s Down and Dirty Tricks even though I have no great design aspirations, and my interest is photography. I bought it mainly cuz I like Corey and respect his talents. Well, the book is loaded with tips that photographers can use. It is an excellent book. May I suggest that Corey does a Kelby course or a travelling seminar on *3D for Photographers.* Adobe would sell more Extended versions of Photoshop.

  53. Paula Coley says:

Great show, once again. Sure do want to get CS6 extended now. Guess I will have start saving. Love you guys!

  62. thomas brydon says:

I love the tips and presentation of the show to make everyone at home.

Keep it up to help us novices pick up a few tricks

  63. Angel says:

Hi there, you guys are great!

Today all is digital but what about old printed photos where the negative was lost. Should one scan these in or take a picture to re-digitize the printed pictures? What would you suggest is the better and quicker solution? If shot, shoot first a greycard to then later have an easyer process in Lightroom?

    Thanks for a reply.

    Angel

BTW: Would be nice if you could up the volume a little bit of your episodes. :-)

  64. Chris Richichi says:

Another good show guys … RC, that was a bad cover for that commercial break – were they telling you off screen “no break, continue” hmmmmm
