Hello! :) I love your show! Could you perhaps show how to apply inside photoshop the light and fire to a candle that is not on fire in real life? I would like to use this on photos of babies and animals near candle, but then I do not dare to put the candle on fire for real, so I would like to apply the fire later on, inside photoshop, and make it look realistic. :)

  26. I subscribed to the videocast for a long time and have numerous episodes downloaded but for some reason I never found the time to watch it, I finally managed to watch the latest show, found it very informative and good humored. I think this upcoming weekend since I have no major plans it might be a Photshop Users TV marathon going on my laptop or tablet. Cheers. Can’t wait to learn more tips and tricks.

Can we see more on making selections of items to put into backgrounds

  28. Joseph Myers says:

Hi, thanks for the tips. I like the look in some of these catalogs like Urban Outfitters or Free the People and sometimes Nordstrums. It is some kind of cross processing technique. It also has a grainy look especially on some interiors. I was wondering if you had your own take on the process. Now, using this vague description, what do you think?

  29. Peter Nord says:

I’ve never been to Photoshop World, but I think you guys have talked me in it.

You guys are great! Wouldn’t mind seeing more on layer use, retouching to make photos better, color adjusting and anything else that you can think of that would be good for pros and amateurs to make the pictures pop but not look overly modified. If that doesn’t work for you anything you feel like playing with would be great!!

  58. Gene Kimball says:

Thank you, Corey, for that very useful tip. I got lost in Pete’s tutorial regarding the dots but I have not used the path tool thus it is not his fault. I liked Dave’s seamless approach though it would obviously take a great deal more work to make a background seamless. The great thing about video is that one can always watch it over and over until it sinks into the dense gray matter in one’s head encumbered with years [eons?] of fragmented and often outdated data .
