Always a great show. PHOTOSHOP User TV but nothing on PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS, come on Photoshop Guys, not all of us can afford or need CS4/5 so how about throwing in a tutorial each week on Elements. Also now CS5 is launched do you know if there will be a new Elements coming out with some of the new CS5 features. Lastly, Does Dave have shares in Dukin Doughnuts?, where is that waistline going, T-Shirts are getting a bit tight!! Keep up the good work, Peter.

Are there ways to convert Lightroom presets to ACR?

I understand Matt’s tip on loading a picture from LR to ACR and extracting its data as a preset, and I have done that, but it’s very laborious and time consuming. And, it’s only one preset at a time. And, it depends on the look of that individual photo. And LR presets are generally available as groups or sets, so it would be quite impractical to apply each one to a photo in LR, load it into ACR, extract the data, give it a name, etc.

I’m hoping that someone has concocted a utility for converting LR presets for ACR. I rarely use LR, because I prefer ACR + PS. According to John Nack a minority of photographers use LR, so there must be plenty people out there who’d like this ability — and maybe one of them has figured it out. Anyone know?
