Merging Layers
Download here
Worth noting that the OPTION CMD SHIFT E shortcut merges all visible layers, but if you want only the selected layers, use OPTION CMD E
Yeah not sure why he didn’t mentioned the Cmd-Option-E shortcut, that’s the most powerful one to me.
That shortcut will merge a copy of all selected layers into a new layer, preserving the originals.
Select non-contiguous layers by using the Command key (Mac) to select, as opposed to Shift-clicking them.
Okay, now that is handy, knowing how to create a merged copy of layers. I knew how to merge all, visible only, and selected only layers, but I did not know about the merged copy of layers!
Nice ! Thanks every body !
