Again, a great tutorial that not only teaches about Duotone but changing a color photo to a Black and White phote in a much better way then the Grayscale mode button. Truly wonderful!
When you said you did not lose anything when you discarded color information, I would have to say that’s incorrect. If you look at the file size in the bottom left hand corner, It did show a decrease in file size which indicates a loss of information, wouldn’t you agree?
