  14. Very interesting show. I’d add local camera clubs to your list of mentoring resources, but I’m going to check my area for meetup groups. Thanks.

  16. Carl Aylman says:

    Merry Christmas, R.C.
Always look forward to each week’s episode.

  17. Patrick Connor says:

Great tips, the shows are getting better.
I’ve been reading a lot about micro adjusting lens focus, which seems to be a must for high MP cameras. Any chance of covering how best to do this?

  18. Luis Mazier says:

Great show. Enjoyed the last two weeks of setup tips have been great.

  19. ken Toney says:

RC, I’ve been looking at the 1Dx too but with all the lenses I have I can’t afford to switch. I have sold one of my D4 workhorse cameras so now I have only 1 D4 a D800 and a D700. I have put that money up in anticipation of the next Nikon flagship that hopefully will have the higher ISO. Great show dude!

  20. Jeffry Zelt says:

Thanks RC. Suggestion: Maybe a show about making adjustments on your camera when your exposure meter gets it wrong- I am thinking wintery scenery where it will tend to underexpose with all that white around. Or maybe just using your gear in colder weather- moving from warm house or car to colder outside and including snowy exposures. .

  21. John Havord says:

    Great show as always.
Agree with Patrick Connor, a tutorial on focus adjustment, would be great. Especially if it covered the various packages out there.

  22. Jim says:

    Really helpful!

  23. Robert Keller says:

I appreciate all of the useful info!

  24. I learned something new, Thank You

  25. Richard Deeble says:

What do you think of the D$ at 12800?

  26. Richard Deeble says:

    Hi
    I meant D4

  27. Great show! Would especially like to see more shows about speedlite photography. Thanks!

  28. Marco says:

    Great tips RC!!

I’m a canon shooter and I’m gonna use them to set Custom Mode on my 5DMKIII even if it hasn’t all these features

  29. Michael McDonald says:

Nice show, I shoot with a Canon, but I have to say that bank idea is pretty nice. Canon does have Custom Shooting Modes, but I don’t think they are as versatile. I would like to see a show on the Canon version of Nikon’s Banks.

  30. Stefano Rocca says:

    Thanks RC.
I would like to see a show on the Canon version of Nikon’s Banks!

    You are amaaaazing! :)

  31. John Mason says:

Nice show, didn’t know there were two different banks. Might be nice to do a episode dedicated to video tips at some point.

  32. IraE says:

Another great show. How about a show on picture size(pixel) in relationship to printing a photo or showing on the internet. How do these changes affect picture resolution. Thanks.

  33. Bill Pinto says:

Learned about the banks in Nikon camera and how to find them and set them.
The meet – up groups I belong to one in New Orleans , La. Which is great. Just had our annual Christmas Party . We are going out this for another field trip.

  34. Wonderful tips RC, I want to learn more about how I can take better pictures in my street photography

  37. I’d love to win the pass for the photoshop world!
Thank you! Great show as always and never know about the banks. I’m using D600, perhaps that’s why

  38. Brad Balfour says:

Good show RC. Interesting to see what a 1DX can do.

  39. I sincerely apologize for the same comments being posted multiple times. I think there was a glitch or something…I kept trying to post a comment and it wouldn’t go through. I would hit the submit comment button, the page would reload and my comment would never appear. Not sure why. Has this happened to anyone else? Anyway, sorry about that!

  40. Ray Justice says:

Wow, I really enjoyed the tip on banks. I had always seen them in the menu but never took the time to read the manual to learn so, thanks RC. Tips and tricks is so convenient to learn a couple of tips a week and not take hours from an already hectic schedule….

  41. Ray Martinez says:

    Awesome tips. Great job!

Great info on Shooting Banks. Would love to see a a low-light comparison between the 1DX and D4. (Would also love to go to PSW in Atlanta!) Thanks for the mentorship ideas.

  47. Robert Klein says:

Love your show and would love the free tickets to PS World.

Show suggestion: How to move and organize files on your hard drive around from within LightRoom 5 (so they don’t get lost in your catalog).

Suggestion #2: Best places to go to get help with printing issues, especially on older printers (where Epson, for one, stops supporting them and their ICC profiles don’t work anymore on their papers).

  48. Robert Smith says:

Just finished catching up on all the past shows,
! (Feels like a Matrix download but the show is well worth it. )
RC you do an excellent job and I enjoy your hosting. I am also a fan of cheap shots, who knew Home Depot was a photographer’s supply store…
Thank you very much for all the tips, I like the little review on the Canon 70D, This is my next camera… (Have had a 10D for the past 5 years so it’s time to upgrade, don’t you think)
One show suggestion, for someone like me just moving into professional photography, what would be the best gear to start off with, what should I invest in now that would work for a long time as my skills and jobs grow. Just starting out with a very small budget you need to know what to get that will help the most. Light meter? Flash? Reflectors?
Looking forward to the next episode! Keep up the good work and Thank you again,
    Robert.

  49. Ray Labbe says:

RC, great tips as usual! But… Took your recommend Web site ” Meetup.com” and checked off my ” PHOTOGRAPHY INTEREST ” opened my Email today and found only single women that wanted to “Meetup”
    FYI… Wife not happy

This was an informative show. I would like to see a few shows on photographing large family groups outdoors using flash fill with remote triggers.

    Great tips RC, thanks

  52. Leonard J. Provenzano says:

RC, thank you for tips we can take to the bank (couldn’t resist). I will make further explorations of my camera’s menus for more adjustments. Atlant should be nicve in the spring.

Loved RC’s sessions I’ve just recently watched! He is so sincere in his demonstrations and teachings!

    Thanks!

  56. Thanks for the tips. Would like to see a show that discusses using sRGB vs Adobe RGB in the camera settings. The reasons for and against each mode.
    Thanks and Happy Holidays!

  57. Lewis Johnston says:

    Wow RC,
You packed a lot of great stuff into one show!
Best wishes to you and all the staff for a prosperous New Year

  58. David Wilson says:

I get the concept of using banks. I’ll need to spend some time playing with the camera to see how to correctly set my U1 and U2 banks in my D7100.

  59. Tim Wilder says:

Really enjoy the show RC ! I also enjoyed the Photowalk in Ybor with all you guys. Hope the photo I took of you on my Harley came out OK ? Happy new Year to you all !

  60. John A Olson says:

Alternative Printing techniques and papers, as well as presentation styles would be interesting to me as a topic.

  61. Pete C. says:

I’ve really enjoyed your shows. Since you always ask for suggestions on future shows, here’s mine. I would love to hear your take on monopods, i.e. how to hold them to get the steadiest shots, right vs wrong situations to use them, what makes a good monopod, monopod walking sticks, using your tripod as a monopod in a pinch, etc… I figure since Scott does sports photography, he could provide some great insight as well.

I love the work you do and have learned a bunch from these videos as well and the videos on Kelby Training. Keep up the great work!

  62. Val Ochoa says:

Scott, RC and gang thank you for what you do. I constantly find info as a Nikon shooter that changes for the better or adds significant value to my type of sports and family Photography. Thanks again and keep up the great work. As info my D2H is holding up pretty well for an old camera.

  63. Love all the tips and tricks, and giveaways! Inspiration is essential and I love that you promote photographers websites that you find. You promote talent that otherwise would be hard to find.
Unfortunately, I was not able to find the site you mentioned with ‘creatives unite’ at the end. Now that kelbytraining is a dead site, you might want to give that link again on the next podcast. Or maybe explain a little more, as it went by so fast, but it was intriguing enough for me to replay several times and try several sites including kelbytv and kelbyone.
Looking forward to more great info in 2014.

  64. Maciej says:

    Thanks for great show

  65. Rick Brewer says:

1st let me say AWESOME shows! I am new to KelbyTv, and you might have already covered this, but I would really like to see some shows on taking pictures in difficult lighting like in churches, or any where that the light is far from ideal. Also on outside shooting. I can take fantastic pictures with my light setup, but have to struggle getting what I want with out the light setup. I shoot with a Canon 60D. Thank you and keep up the great work!

    Rick

  66. I’ll need to spend some time playing with the camera to see how to correctly set my U1 and U2 banks in my D7100. I wanted to thank you for this great read!! I certainly enjoyed every bit of it. I have got you saved as a favorite to check out new stuff you post…
