Episode Summary
Special guest Brian Matiash demonstrates how to bracket photos with custom functions on Canon cameras. Matt talks about uses for Live View mode, and RC gives his opinion on the importance of setting image order when shooting bracketed exposures.

Enjoyed the episode. OnOne software videos with Brian are very informative. Thanks
Watched the first two shows…like the tips but the show seems a bit too fast paced you seem to be rushing each of the tips out. You don’t seem as relaxed as you are on most of your other Kelby TV shows… a couple of extra mins taken over the length of the whole show would not make it look as frantic… other than that It’s great.
Great show, would sure like to know how to get 6 frames on a Nikon D7000.
Thanks
Ed

great show !
Hey there! I could have sworn I’ve been to this website before but after reading through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Anyhow, I’m definitely delighted I found it and I’ll be book-marking and checking back frequently!
Another great show!
I loved the tip on bracketing.
I shoot with a D7000 which only allows me to bracket 3 shots. Is it possible to do the canon technique on a D7000? If so can you explain how to set it up. Cheers.
Hey Matt, Scott, RC, et al.
Nice job with the transition to the new program. The new format and theme are cool, and you continue to deliver concise, informative content. Well done. One observation:
I think it’s time to give HDR a rest. Going back to the D-Town TV days, I think there are more episodes in which a tip either explicitly deals with HDR, or an application for a more general tip to HDR is mentioned, that episodes in which HDR is not referenced. Episode 2 of the new show is no exception. I will concede that there are some powerful HDR images out there, but the technique has become overused to the point of cliche, and a lot of people attempt to use HDR (not very well, in many cases) to compensate for mediocre photographs that otherwise lack creative distinction.
How about mixing up shooting, lighting and post-production techniques a little more? I would be thrilled to see the show with regular segments on (1) innovative or not-well-known ways to use equipment – helpful menu settings, Larry’s Cheap Shots kind of stuff, etc.; (2) a shooting technique segment – lighting, panoramas, panning, macro, etc.; (3) short interviews on a range of topics with some of the talented people who teach Kelby Training courses and other talented photographers who you highlight at the end of the show.
That said, I’m still watching. You have a great show!
Great show as always. Everyone gone? Good thing you’re holding down the fort Matt.
Another great show!
Another great show! Thanks Matt and Brian!
Great show. More please!
Great tips and tricks
Great show.
great tips
good format
Loved the tips, keep em coming!
Great show.
Matt, is the life-view idea not good advertisment to move away from DSLR to a system camera?
I am in doubt for my next camera if it should be DSLR again or not. Maybe it could be a topic for discussion on Kelby-TV.
Excellent !!!!
I’ve learned a lot from you guys.
Thanks.
Keep the good work…
Nice show guys!
Nice tip from Brian, unfortunately it only partially works on the 60D, since it has only one custom mode (C). Even though it was something I started to do not long ago, put my bracketing configuration (set as RC suggested) as custom mode.
I like the new show . I like the new speed … thanks for it.
This time all hints are so much helpful to me.
I’m so pleased
Thanks
Andre
Hi Matt,
Great Show. Maybe the other guys will join you next time!
good tips
good tips. Love the T&T format.
The camera tip for Canon auto bracketing, Custom Functions C3, C2, C1, don’t work or doesn’t save the settings.
Am I missing something?
This isn’t working, is it?
I’m trying to leave a comment about the camera tip, auto bracketing for Canon cameras.
The camera tip for Canon auto bracketing, Custom Functions C3, C2, C1, don’t work or doesn’t save the settings.
Am I missing something?
But this keeps saying that I said this before.
Where? It’s not showing up anywhere I look.
I like the new show! I like the fast pace and good tips. Thanks!
I like the new show, especially the canon tips. ffm

Dennis
Hi Folks , Seen your new show today for the first time which I enjoyed very much even if some tips were redundant but I guess that is necessary to reach all audience.
Just a little critique though. In the old d town tv you placed the links to mentioned products, websites etc in the episode summary, I’d like to have that
Back again here too.
Would appreciate it.
So continue the great work and have a great time!
Hans
love the new show.
Great show love the new content and set. Gave your info to a friend I met to watch your shows. She was so happy that this is available.
Better and better every week.
Great tips on bracketing! Thank you guys.
Love the new show!
I use to use the old C1, C2, C3 bracketing trick before I got the Promote Control.
Supper show, love all the tips.
It’s taking me a while to adjust to the schedule from DTown but I still really enjoy the new program.
Another good episode! RC’s tip on order in bracketing was especially helpful. Thanks!

This actually answered my downside, thanks!
This is a topic which is close to my heart… Best wishes! Exactly where are your contact details though?
Great tips. Will start using live view now that I started to wear glasses.
Why do you always have the 0 in the bracketing? Could you have one set to -4, -3, -2 the second at -1 0 1, and the third at 2,3,4?
I just want to tell you that I am just newbie to weblog and actually savored this web blog. Probably I’m want to bookmark your site . You absolutely have incredible posts. With thanks for revealing your web page.
