I am new to Indesign and have a problem with type. When I make a text block and type in my copy everything is cool. But at times when I try to bring a word or break the line so it will drop down to the next line it instead starts a new paragraph.

How do I control this so it does not make a new
    paragraph.

    Thank you for your time.
