another good show. thanks!
Cool episode guys! Matt – Try the ND filter on long exposures of fireworks and lightning. I saw some fireworks photos done this way. Unfortunately, I can’t remember where. The fireworks pics had a totally different look that I’ve never seen before.
Look forward to new show each week.
Great show again, guys.
Great show guys. Thanks to Peter for all his portrait tips.
Would it be an idea, when using a 10-stop ND, to focus by using the distance scale on the lens?
(BTW I guess Scott really loves cheeeese…)
Another fine show guys. Love the variety of info you present. Keep up the good work.
Enjoyed the show. Keep up the great tips.
Love the show! Keep it up
thanks guys for another great show!
Great show guys!
Getting my drivers license renewed tomorrow.
Seriously considering sticking my chin out based on the Peter Hurley head shot technique.
God knows I could use more separation between my chin and my neck!
Really enjoy your show!
Could you do some more on the various software out there
Enjoy head shop topic 10+
Great show , enjoyed the pointers about working with people.
Great show, love Annie’s tips
hi guys
Great show. Nice I finally get to watch the day it’s posted:)
Good tips as always. I use a variable ND; even though it screws on you can open it up to focus then stop it down as required to shoot…
I thought Larry was going to tip over!
Thanks- next to Joe McNally’s insights, Peter Hurley’s tips are most welcome.
Great Show, Thanks.
Usually use a graduated filter in my square filter holder so hadn’t thought about horizontal mounting. Nice one!
Like Annie’s tips too.
Thanks.
Thanks for the tip on using liveview with dark filters!
Great show, some great tips, especially the tip about putting the filter, into the filter holder, horizontal rather than vertical. Guess who is guilty of missing than one……… whoops!
Speaking of filters, check out the Haida 10 stop, an excellent budget alternative to the Lee big stopper.
I watched the Peter Hurley head shave thing as well, it was awesome!
I’m still deciding between a variable ND and a Lee filter system. I’m leaning heavily towards the Lees because of the Grad ND’s and because I recently read that the variable ND filters don’t have even coverage across the frame – has anyone tested this?
Great tips! Thanks again for all you share.
A great show as always!
Thanks for another great episode! I couldn’t tell what “that thing over there” was…
Great show…Peter Hurley is fantastic!
Not nice to pick on Larry Becker though.
Book would be a great prize (hint, hint).
u guys are great great show and very good tips
Great show guys.
Matt, excellent tip on using Live View with ND filters. Peter Hurley is truly a talented and fun personality.
Another great show. Peter Hurley had some great tips.
Yeah, you guys are nuts!! I like it!! Good tip with the filter and the portraiture from both Peter and Annie. Just relax I’ll get this shot!! Larry was funny, it looked like he wanted to lean over to the next county when Annie leaned in!
Another great show!!
Always the best part of my week guys!
As always great show.
Another great show as always. Thanks
Great stuff guys! Thanks

Will a stacking of a 4 ND and a 6 ND filter be the same as a 10 stop ND filter?
I always get something out of DTown, keep them coming.
About the Lee “Big Stopper”
Cool, but…
I like variable neutral density filters.
Respectfully,
Kay Fisher

Cheers
Phil.
thanks for a great show guys!
Terrific tips, as always!
Great show. Love the composites at the end…
Great show! How about making Lee Big Stopper as a give away?
It’s extremely hard to get one. I’ve been waiting for months to get a Big Stopper. Thanks RC for the tip about keeping the filter holder turned side ways so the filters doesn’t drop out. Only problem is, graduated ND filters (4″x6″) won’t be effective.
Good show.
You guys RROCK! Another great show.
Loved the live view focus tip!
Good show, thanks for the tips!
Great show, wish you would have shown how the big stopper attaches to the lens.
Always rocks and the giveaways are fantastic.
I loved the interview with Peter Hurley! I am going to watch his 4 hour YouTube video! Love the show!

I am always inspired by your show to try new things. I’m taking a trip out west to some great landscape locations, and I’ll have to expand my use of ND filters. Thanks again!
124 Episodes and never been a winner. I keep hoping!
Love the show,thanks.
Just started watching ya’ll guys! I love it so far! Good tips and I can’t wait to try them out.
Good show, enjoyed the lean from as well. Personal space!
Nice show!
Not only Peter Hurley’s input, but also a second part of Anne Cahill’s tips … nice!
10 stops filter … hmmmmm nice gift for myself
off course you need to turn your (LEE) filter holder 90 degrees if your using gradient filters. By the way: I have never had a filter slide out off my LEE filterholder.
Thanks for great show
Interesting show. Refreshing to see some noncamera tips.
Another great show guys!
Always a great show
It would be interesting to see a location piece on working with a vari ND filter or the big stopper. Good show guys.
great show
I love DTOWN ! I have learned so much from all the guys.
I love Peter Hurley. He’s a great photographer, excellent teacher, and a funny guy.
Definitely think the show is going in the right direction with the increase of guest photographers this year. Keep it up!

Great show. Can never get enough tips from Peter Hurley.
Pick me please
Hi guys! I’ve watched DTown for the past three years, and one thing that I’ve never seen is any discussion on mirror lenses. I know these are inferior to standard zooms, but I would love your input. I know they are cheap, but would they be worthy of a Larry’s Cheap Shots?
Great show as usual.
Another great show. Much appreciated.
ROBUST episode!
Show was cool. Is it hot in Fla yet??? Great tips, but what else is new? Winning once in a while would be new. What are the odds after years of watching since PS RADIO !!!. alohadios
Great show.
You guys are awesome!! Also, Peter Hurley getting his head shaved was the best thing on YouTube this past week!
Just caught up, I was only gone for a couple seasons! Thanks for the tips.
Larry, can you say personal space?!
I see the same thing at times, have to remind students that they need to actually talk to their model otherwise the model will close down.
Great information guys!!!!

Thank you for showing Peter Hurley, great Show.
Great show! Love Peter! Thanks!!
Hi Guys,
loved the show, particularly Peter and all the tips this week.
Wow, another great episode!! Would like to see some of Matt’s shots he took with the 10 stop. I have the Singh-Ray Variable ND (8 stops) and would like some fresh ideas for images I could capture with it. Love the show, always.
Good show, as always. Quick tip from me: instead of trying LiveView (wouldn’t work with 16 stops of ND anyway, which I’m using a lot) for focus and composition, try the Xume adapters to quickly attach and remove the NDs. http://www.xumeadapters.com/
Glad to know about live view. Thanks for a great show!
You guys rock! I love watching your shows and learn more. Keep up the great work. I really enjoy your guests as well. I was checking up some of the images from Peter Hurley and I love the ‘Clam’ lighting setup. I was doing a similar for a video shoot not long ago and I can’t wait to do it with photography. Cheers
Thanks guys as a beginner at photography your show really inspires me to get out there and try different techniques
