Been shooting for years, never once thought about over-exposing and correcting in post to replicate a long exposure. I guess it is too obvious!
And again: issue 122 is a marvelous combination of photography and post – processing tips. Everything can be tried out and used right away – just great!

Don
Nice tip and cheap shot guys!
Some great tips!
Another great show guys I have watched them all since the start.
At the start of the show RC was showing the D800 and I noticed that the camera had some small QR straps attached , do you guys feel comfortable using these type of strap option given the flexibility that hey can offer, secondly and more important how do you feel about using them from a camera safety prospective as I would be slightly concerned that the camera might de-attach itself at some point, your thought,s comments would be appreciated.
Regards
John (UK)

I use Larry cheap shot it really works
thanks
Great show liked the tip on slower shutter speed
Nice show!
I’ve actually been struggling with the silky water thingy.
For the moment a ND or even the polarisers are not yet in my bad.
This weekend I applied the multiple shots suggested by RC some weeks ago, even though my 60D doesn’t have this mode (it can be done by hand and stacked in this magic code … what’s the name? Photoshop? hehehehe).
I might get to a multiple shots+over exposures combination! Let’s see
Like RC’s tip on frame rates on a DSLR camera.
CAN’T WAIT TO TRY IT OUT.
I absolutely love kelbytv.com after stumbling across it while surfing (via an on-line ad.)!

Sweet.
Any chance you guys can do a show on panoramic photography? It seems like there’s a fair share of technical knowledge involved like parallax errors, nodal points, panning heads, etc. A primer on this would be nice in the future!
Great show guys!

Great tips today;
Hi guys I like watching your show i didnt find out about all the cool things kelby hast offer until I was the google+ back in May, I have been watching the older videos and was wondering what kind of soft wear you guys use back up your images to dvd or cd rom. I am looking for something that nikon had out years ago called picture people where you could put as much images as you wanted and it would tell you how many dvds or cds you needed to back it all up then it would burn it for you. Is there anything like that out on the market right now?
WOW Larry. How did you get so smart? Great tip! Thanks——–
thanks for the long exposure tips! I never thought of grossly overexposing the image and pulling it back in camera raw
You guys are Awesome! Love the exposure tips, Matt.

You guy are awesome, really really awesome!
Matt, try multiple exposure on Nikon for soft water falls! Must set camera to jpg with no bracketing, then use 10 shots on multiple exposure!
Great show, see you next week
Tnx for the tricks about working without ND filter…
See U on next show..
Denis

Great tips !!! Never thought of overexposing scenes with water to create the silky effect.
Great show guys. Matt, all three tips used at the same time should create a more silky looking stream.
Great as usual!
Well done!
Great Tips on Long exposure!
Thanks Guys
Matt you really need a shave!
Seems like you’re burning the candle at both ends…
‘Holiday time’!
Regarding the smooth water/longer exposure, you guys had another tip here a while back:
Taking multiple exposures of the same scene (tripod helps here
) and combine them in Photoshop. It will smooth out any moving bits and with some work you can even mask what you want smooth and what you want to sharp from a single exposure.
Awesome show again guys, just a quick tip Matt re: shooting without a ND filter. You can also take multiple shots of the river at the correct exposure and then blend together later in PS, this will also give a soft blurred effect.
Thanks for all the tips and advice over the years
Mark
Keep it up!!!
