Matt, your presentation for eyeglass glare repair was incredible. Thank you.
Great to have you back on the show.

You guys are awesome…i love the videos. The Tips/Tricks help out so much. I’m always learning new stuff! Thank you!
My first time watching D-Town. I won’t miss another episode. Thank you.
Good show against.

Great Show! I love the addition of semi-live question answering on the show. Keep ‘em coming!
I just finished watching all the older episodes and was wondering if you guys could do an episodes that involves using extension tubes and teleconverters, Thank you, for hosting this informative great show
More HDR work in camera. Settings and setup for both single and multi shots.
Matt and RC; Love your show.
Show Suggestion: Do a segment on wireless flash units. Cover the pros and cons of both RF and IR flash systems. Thanks and keep the good shows coming!
Thanks for another great show.
I really enjoy this show! I am fairly new to photography and I learn so many tips from the guys. Things that I would have never thought about. Its great!
Thanks for the eyeglasses tips. Man, I wish I had known those tips a year ago when I shot a wedding for a friend’s daughter. Every shot with him (and several other folks) had some glare in his glasses. As you said it was a nightmare trying to fix the shots in post. Thanks you guys are great to teach us all these great tips of the trade.
I am a student of speedlights and would put the book and DVD to good use.
Love the show!
I´ve been eagerly waiting for the show this week. I thought it was never going to happen. It has been a very educative and excelent show . Nothing to complaint about. Because sometimes I know i´m very fussy like in my comments… Sorry! . Hear of you next week ?
Good show, I like the idea of live-ish type show. “ish” seems to be the Kelby Training wordish of the week
Great tips from Matt regarding photographing peeps with glasses.
Thanks for the great tips! Can you show how to change heads? As always, enjoyed the show!
Thanks for the show and tips….
Excellent show. Thanks for all the tips. Love the glasses explanation.
Another great show guys.
Wow…I’m the second commentor! Cool. Good job once again. Appreciated the practical tips on removing glare. Thanks!
Excellent tips
Thank you, Gentlemen. I appreciate your efforts to bring great information to the masses so often.
Love the Q&A addition!
I loved seeing Matt, but I missed my cheap shots!
Fun as usual…
Good show! I like the idea of bringing a few questions from the people watching the show. Great tip with the glasses and I love Bill. I enjoyed and learned a lot watching his class on macro.
I noticed you had two external hard drives on the desk top. How about some tips as to when and how to utilize them in a workflow? BTW great show!
Matt is back!!! Yayyyy!! Great show.
Yay, Matt’s back!
OK the hotel sign from KY that Bill showed in his segment is in the town I live in. Now how cool is that!
Great show as always. Missed not having a show last week. Seeing Matt again and the length of this show helped make up for it. See y’all next week.
You guys rock , Great show
Great to see Matt again. Keep coming back. You guys rock.
great show guys!
Where was Larry Becker today?
When I see Chase in a Google+ hangout with RC, I’ll know it won’t be long until I see him on Kelby Training!
Great show, but I missed cheap shots too.
I downloaded the Lightroom4 beta. I’m going to try it even though I love ACR. We’ll see. Love Bill Fortney! I would like to see more of him on KelbyTV!
Great show. Welcome back Matt!
How about a show about the best, must need gear for the beginner.
Matt wish I would have known your glare tip earlier. Great prizes too.
Great show. Enjoyed the eyeglasses tips.
awesome show!
You guys are awesome….No, really, you really are awesome. I SAID you are awesome !! caphich ?!!!
You guys rock. WOuld love to see more of the “in the field” stuff like Matt & Scott have done in the past.
Glad you guys are back. I was extremely jonesing not having an episode last week. Great show as always. Keep up the good work!!!
Great show. As a person wearing glasses, the glare problem has been problematic. In film days, when I shot in a studio, we either used frames, moved the lights or tilted the chin down as most of our portraits were male [military]. We did not have PS. I really enjoyed the tip.
Great tips as always. I’m just getting into speedlites and would like to here more.
great episode like always.
This site is the ” home page ” of my browser.
every day looking for something new
Even though there wasn’t a cheap shots segment this week, it was still a great show. Good job Matt and RC.
Excellent tip on the glasses, wish i had that one before!
Love your tips.
Another great show. Good to see Matt.
You Guys are Awesome!
Wow, great giveaways this week.
Great job!
Great show folks
I love this show and all the tips you share. Keep it up!
Great show
Nice to have you back again Matt
Rotation of hosts is a good idea, you’re all great but variety is always a good thing.
Great show!
Matt, when you are in free transform and you have the first pupil lined up, have you tried to “anchor” it by moving the free transform center spot thing over that pupil area. From there move the other side of the glasses to line up the second pupil and the first one stays put. Please I want the Lighting in Layers DVD.
Amazing show guys! Lots and lots of info in this one. Keep it coming! Thanks again for everything!
I love the show guys. I was wondering when will RC release a book on Photoshop or photography? I’ve come up with possible titles for RC’s book.
1. “Photoshop, Photograhy and Passion” by RC
2. “Light it, Shoot it and Explain it for 30 Minutes”
by RC
3. “The Photoshop Guys and Me” by RC
4. “Layers La Vida Loca” by RC
5. “Who Moved My Adjustment Brush” by RC
This all in fun. Love ya RC.
Marlon
great show missed you
Your show gets better each week, and thanks for the update on CS6.
The education I have received from you guys is invaluable. My colleagues think I’m a pro but I just smile and thank you guys for all you have done over the years. Please don’t ever stop teaching.
Going to a live production would be awesome! Thanks for the eyeglass tip.
Live is good – winning is better
)
Great show guys!
That hits the target dead center! Great aneswr!
Good tips on the glasses issue.
Great show as always, guys. The Lightroom 4 demo was really good. I do think Bill’s tip was a little too simple for most, though.
You guys rock!!! Bill Fortney rocks!!!
David Hobby is my hero , afterh the photoshop guys that is
Again, some good information, Thanks!
Great show with good tips. Nice to have Matt on the set. Keep it up with the guests too.
If you pick me for the prize (I’d love the Strobist DVDs!!! , but already have Syl’s awesome book so that could go to someone else).
Nice to see you again Matt. Loved the tip on the eyeglass reflection removal.
Like the Live idea, think you should do a tip on printing, from lightroom, to finished print.
Great show!! Always some useful tips. Look forward to every Thursday.
Good show.
Another great show as always. I like it when you change it up a little bit. It keeps the show fresh.
Lighting in Layers… YES PLEASE.
Excited to hear that the show might be going “live-ish”.
Always great to see the two of you together. Great dynamics! Great tips!
Great tips. Could you please do pro camera reviews and comparisons. I’m looking at the new D4 or D800
Good show!

Thanks Kelby Training, Great Show.
Nice show! Thanks for the great tips.
you guys are awesome! i’ve been watching faithfully since the early years (shows) with matt and scott………thanks!
Learned something new….again! Thanks for the tips.
Good to see Matt on the show again!
Dave Black tips! And um…..where were you guys last week?
Great show, thanks
Great tip on photographing people with glasses. I would like to see some info on using dslr for video and inexpensive equipment needed. I am looking at purchasing viewfinder to help get sharp focus. Torn between zacuto z finder ( overpriced) and the swivi lcd. Like to see a segment on this and your opinions.
Outstanding show and lots of great tips.
You guys are Awesome! ……….is that really all it takes to win a give away? I hope so. I would love to get this weeks giveaway . It would really be helpful to a beginning photographer. Keep the great shows coming guys.
Love the show!!!
I enjoy your show. Thanks for all the tips.
Another eyeglasses tip is to have extra sets on hand without lens. Find one reasonably close to the client’s pair and if acceptaple to them, shoot with those, no glare.
Lightroom 4 is looking like a real winner and I can’t wait to see (and get) the final released product.
Thank you for excelent job!
Fantastic show! Love Bill Fortney, his classes on Kelby Training are awesome! One topic I would love to see covered is the idea of Daily Photo Challenges, maybe a guest appearance from Trey Ratcliff or other Daily posters. Specifically I would like to know the strategies they use to stay creative and work in the time to shoot. It would help so much in my daily photo endeavors on http://www.nickexposed.com
Thanks again for such awesome content!!
Yay, Matt’s back!
Great eyeglasses tip. That will come in handy in the future. Bill Fortney rocks, as usual.
A live D-Town? Bring it on! And have Nancy moderate the comments….
–John
Oh, and one other thing….what ever happened to Brad’s gear tips? They were really helpful!
–John
You guys are awesome! Glad your back.
I always enjoy the show. Great tips.
Great tips!!!
Another great show. Loved Matt’s eye glasses technique.
Can you do a tutorial on how to photoshop a list of people who have won the giveaways on D-Town TV?
Another great show!
I am using an old Canon d30 and figure best to conentrate on my craft rather than new gear for the time being. Any tips on inexpensive gear or software that I can use to get the most out of my current camera?
Loved the show. Greg
As usual another great show. Looking forward to a live version.
Great to have Matt back. Another good show.
The tip on photographing someone with glasses and glare was excellent. Thanks for the tip.
Great tip on shooting people with glasses.
I also liked Bill Fortney’s examples about saturation.
Keep up the great work.
You guys are Awesome…oh wait that’s what the page always says!! Loved the tips this week and the update on Phtotoshop and Lightroom. Hope you can fit this in to the show soon. I am in the market for a new camera and I was considering the Canon 60D or the 7D (both in the price range) They seem to be pretty much the same in regard to the sensor being 18MP but there are some subtle differences. Which would you say is the more appropriate camera for semi-pro photography (have made some dollars but not in the business full time since 1983) Now that is DSLR Shooting!! DTown Baby! Thanks.
You guys are great. Would love to see live shows, and would also love to see more HDR and Long Exposures. Thank for the tips and tricks . Keep up the great work you do!!!!
Could this be my day,,,,didn’t know Elements had Content Aware.
Wonderful show , I always learn something new from you. Thanks
Great show and good to see Matt back for a visit.
Jim
Good show but miss the photo gear introduction
Great show. Really thought the eyeglass example was AWESOME. I have wondered about this for some time.
Thanks Guys.
Great show
Good show guys. How about a session on macro photography.
nice tip for glasses glare. i hope i win the 2 books. i’m into portrait photography using speedlights. those books will help me a lot
Thanks for doing the show. I like how you took the glare off of the glasses.
Your guys are awesome. No, really.
I loved the glasses tip. Simple and cool, though I never would have thought of it myself. I’m getting more into portraiture and I’ll have a chance to use it soon. I’m also getting more into strobist lighting, so the books would be a HUGE help!
Another great episode.
Nice show, keep up the good work!!
Mighty useful. Make no mistkae, I appreciate it.
Always enjoy the show. Tip for the guy going to New Zealand was great for anyone with new gear on a trip.
Great show again. Thanks!!
Great show guys! I’m glad you’re including David Hobby’s work, and small flash tips, keep em coming
Live or Live-ish would be good. I’ll look forward to it. In the meantime, RC, I can’t believe you didn’t mention the wonderful wonderful changes to the Basic panel in LR4 beta’s Develop module! Maps are fun, but it’s a gimmick really. Being able to hide some of the module names is good. But content aware sliders in that Basic panel is awesome!
Great show.
another great show. what I would love to see is showing the difference between glamour, fasion, regular portrait, lifestyle and other portrait styles. There is a subtle difference between some of em and I would really love to see then more examples versus hearing. TYVM
Excellent . . .
Say I know you said I didn’t have to post this , BUT!!! You guys are awesome.
Another great show!
Great show. Can’t wait for LR 4 and your tips.
Great to see Matt back on DTown.
Great tips for the glasses and a great show as always. Regards from Brisbane
Great show, look forward to the next one.
Love the show guys!
You guys are awesome!!!… But where the heck’s Larry?? Miss my cheap shots. Miss Brad too!

Great show as usual. Keep on rockin`. Would be great to see some more tips from Syl.
Nice show!
The idea of a live show is pretty good, though usually the live things happen at very bad time for European viewers
Good one, again.
Strobist on DVD…winning!!
Nice episode. Keep it up!
Great show, thanks DTownTV !
I would love to see more Photographer recommendations. Always great to discover new amazing artists.
Nice to have Matt back. Great show… thanks!
You guys rock!
Another great presentation Matt and RC. I have yet to finish your book on Compositing and this one will come in handy for those with glare on glasses. Thanks for sharing.
Hi guys! Nice show. Love to see Matt back. What happened last week? Missed ya!
Thanks.
Love it when Matt is back
would like to learn more about high contrast photography
Great tips on taking portraits of subjects that are wearing glasses!
Is waiting for the full version of lightroom 4
Glad to have both of you back. RC were can I find a $14 remote trigger?
So pleased you gave Elements 10 a good review
its a super progamme.
Another good show this week………..
Another great show and looking forward to the release of LR 4
This is a great show, I’m glad I found it! Could you do a segment on product photography lighting, especially bottles? Thanks!!
You guys rock.
I have another solution for Jeff that works better than RC’s answer. Once you set your bracket, put the camera on self timer. It will automatically fire the 3 shots for you with 1 press of the shutter. (I use a Canon 50D so I’m not sure if other brands will do the same thing.)
Great show as always. Nice to hear about the beta Lightroom
great pp tips matt! hope to see more strobist/lighting setup tips! i know i dont have to say this, but you guys are undoubtedly awesome
Great show – enjoyed the tips about glasses & the upfront on LR4: roll-on the full version!
This show is a great help.
i would like to see a show that demonstrates a photo shoot from the start till the end.
if you have done so what episode.
Love the tip from Matt about using the equipment you’re comfortable. Absolutely essential for having fun with photography. There’s a place for learning new techniques and equipment but it sure isn’t on vacation in a place you may never see again.
If you download a photo into Lightroom 4 beta will it also be in 3?
Hi Matt, thanks for the tips on how to correct eyeglass reflections in photos. By the way, when you tilt glasses that way it is called pantoscopic tilt. If you are doing a wedding you can have the bride and groom and parents who wear glasses get new lenses with anti-reflective coatings on the lenses and that would be another way to eliminate glare from external lighting.
Another great show. The map tagging in Lightroom 4 looks awesome.
Great show, I love the tip about the glasses. Well done guys!
Great Show Keep it up.
I love the specs removal. I’ve neve worked with thd “difference” mode before.
Great show
Nick, you are aseloutbly right. The first thing anyone will tell you is the importance of establishing and building a recognisable brand. Any major company, whether it be WWE, UFC, Nike, Coca-Cola, the NBA or anything else will tell you that, and these companies spend millions to establish their brand in the marketplace.Pro wrestling does this to great success by trademarking the names of their wrestlers, so that they cannot use the names outside of the company that gave them the name. If it is your desire to establish a separate identity for yourself outside of professional wrestling, then one of the best ways to do it is to use a name that no one else can claim — your own.Onto one of your other points about companies now checking people online, it’s all a matter of how you present yourself. Many companies are happy to know that people they hire have ambition. It’s a given today that no job is forever, whether it be corporate downsizing, or someone retiring, or mergers that eliminate positions. Even the military is not immune, as there are thousands of job fields in the military that are closed for promotion, so the people in those military occupations need to either find a new job in their branch of service or leave and find another branch of service (or sometimes be forced out entirely).Additionally, most people understand that your dreams and ambitions aren’t always the same as theirs, and recognise that as long as it doesn’t interfere with the performance of your job for them, most are fine with it.
Thanks again for another great job.
Great tip from Matt, really useful. Great artist Elena Zhukova.
Let’s see a flash tip of the week series.
BTW the eye glass tip was quite helpful. Thanks for not choosing the easiest set-up to correct.
Great Show and Good Tips!
Thanks again
Another great show. Thanks!
I would really like it if you guys would do some shows on Adventure Photography. I know the bread and butter for most people is wedding or portrait photogrphy but an episode or per season on adeventure sports photography would by greatly apreciated.
You guys are awesome! Ok…the gratuitous greeting!
Great tip on glass glare. I remember, back in the day, the photographer would pop out the lenses. The two-photo trick is a great alternative to no lenses or if you cannot tilt the glasses because of it looking awkward. Great job!
great tips, kewl ideas, excellent show ! ! !
Yes, I am heading to Europe for a month. If I was only going to take one camera/lens combo (Nikon) what would you recommend? Tripod options? I have a D700 /28-300 and A D300/18-200. I am leaning towards the D300 mostly for weight concerns as I will be hiking. I have looked at lots of forums but you folks travel a lot, so what would be your preference? Thanks, Cindy
Great show, never miss one. Not sure if my earlier comment posted!
Great show! Good to see Matt on the show! I always learn something valuable when I watch!
You guys are awesome!!
Often when I want to shoot bracketed shots, but don’t want to have to click the shutter button every time, is bracket, put the camera in 2sec (or 10sec) delay mode and it will automatically take all 3 shots. And it has the benefit of not touching the camera to take the shot.
Great show as always
Hi Guys,
Love the show!
Thanks.
Great retouch tip. Really helpful. Thanks for the show.
great tip about the glasses
Hey there guys. AWSOME SHOW. Im newly a subcriber. One tip is you should invite a photographer that is good but is unknown. at least once a month. One more question, where are you guys doing these shows? thank you and love the videos.
fun show guys!
Nice show. I also like having rotating hosts throughout the year.
Great Tips Guys i wish i was close to you guys and follow you closer, i guess being Canadian is now always an advantage Lol
guys i just want help with how to shoot moon at night with budget dslr using kit lens…thanks
Loved the episode. Loved the tutorial on removing glasses glare.
Thanks
Hey guys, another great show. It’d be really good to see some more tips on shooting HDR images; maybe even covering some lightroom processing tips too.
Wish your show was twice as long.
RC, have you ever tried using a variable ND filter (like a Singh-Ray) to make your HDR brackets? Just leave ISO, Shutterspeed, F-Stop alone and turn the filter. Just an idea.
Thanks guys!
Love the show.
Great show, more about speed lights
Great show!
yall rock !
yall rock – bill rocks too
Great show again guys!
Great tips on shooting people with glasses, Matt! I really need the Strobist DVDs, by the way Thanks!
Love your advice on New Zealand; it’s so important to remember to enjoy photography.
Nice to see you back, I was begining to think you’d run out on us.
Great tips again, thanks.
Great tips on photographing people with glasses. I’ve also asked people to slide the glasses down slightly on their nose, and that seems to work pretty well. Raising the lights a bit helps also.
I’m going to order prints through Mpix in a few weeks thanks to this show. I’m looking forward to them. Thank you for letting me know about the service.
Good show, too!
Thanks for the info on CS6 and LR4! I’ve been holding back with CS3 for a long time and will need to consider this.
Love the info on retouching photos!
Good Show!
Great show guys. Awesome tip on the glasses, will use that in the future.
You guys are AWESOME!
Matt, I’m about halfway through your compositing secrets book and loving it.
Hi guys – good show today (I’ve already got Hobby’s DVD set, so I’m voluntarily excluding myself from the contest). Don’t know why I haven’t noticed this before, but if this is the “show for DSLR shooters”, why is the image in the “O” in the DTOWN logo clearly not a DSLR? Just sayin…
Great show as usual! I’d love and could make good use of the Strobist’s book.
Free is good!
great tips
Great tips guys! Pretty interesting about the glasses tip . . . a photographer did that with my glasses when taking pictures for church. It felt really weird and I thought for sure the photo was going to look stupid, but just as Matt’s example it was barely noticable. I would love to win one of the prizes! : ) Thanks guys, always entertaining.
Each show is enjoyable and I always learn something new. Thanks
The more tips, the better! Good going, guys. Thanks.
Another great show.
Have you ever though about having a series of tips for photographing children of different ages?
Great tip for eliminating reflections in glasses!
you guys are awesome!
The quickest way to make money at photography is to sell your camera.
;D
Great show, I really enjoyed Bill Fortney’s tip
Wasnt the eye glass tip in one of the other podcasts…. Either way good show I’ll still watch even if its repeating. You guys are really making me want a kelby subscription but i just dont have the time to watch…. Still thinking
Great show
Would a Polarizing filter eliminate or reduce glare on
Glasses?
I was wondering about the same point. But I never used a polarisation filter. Would You use a linear or circular filter?
Great show and great tips
Awesome Wailin’ Show guys! thanks
Awesome Show, But what happen to the camera shooting tips, gear stuff, flash etc. I thought photoshop user tv was for the software tips??
See Ya Next Week
Great show. Thanks for turning me on to Elena’s website. Such great talent for someone so young.
Yet another great show!
Love Matt and RC, and I miss Larry Becker. Hope to see Larry back and get some of all three of you. Great show…
Love the show! Great tip on the glasses, Looking forward to next weeks show.
Because of you guys, I become addicted to photography. Is there any cure for that.
Can’t you use a polarizer filter with glasses problems
I really need help with flash photography.
I really liked Bill’s tipp and examples of the photos and what is possible.
It is so great to see Matt again in D-Town.
I also wonder if a polatisation filter (circular or linear — what would you prefer?) could be a help if there is some glare on the glasses.
Wonderful tips for glases, thanks guys
great show as usual
A GREAT TOPIC FOR THE FUTURE
CONNECTING YOUR CAMERA TO THE I PAD
WIRELESSLY OR WITH THE NEW SD CARDS THAT CREATE THEIR OWN WI-FI
Another great show, a live type of feed is a great idea! I think it will work well with your guys format.
So, bought the Oben ACM 2400 because I like the legs on a mono-pod, but to find out the version you linked via BH on last week site, is not the correct one. (You might wanna fix that.)
I do like when you show off new products, its nice to know what other people are using and if they like it or not.
good show
thanks
Hi Guys
Nice done again
Didn’t you do the glasses tip in another podcast…. All good still worth watching!!!

Love the show.
Thanks guys!
Great Show. Be nice to see the “new look” slightly live.
Enjoy!
I’m excited about the upcoming Lightroom 4 release.
Great show and great tips.
Really liked the tips on glassees
Enjoyed the show, guys. A question on eyeglass glare: what about raising the light, but keeping it real close to soften it, then adding a reflector aiming upwards? Or is that just too much?
Great tips and always great shows!
Greetings from oversee
Great to have Matt on the show. Well done!
You guys are awesome!!
Hi there from Mexico,
This was my first time watching your show but diffinatly not my last, thanks to my son in Norway for pointing me the way to your site.
Love the tips, especially about the eyeglasses, looking forward to the next episode but in the meantime will be watching the back episodes.
Great show, thanks!!!
I just tried a quick and dirty portrait using the eyeglass tip. Wow, priceless!
OMG!! Lightroom 4 is coming out! I wonder what new goodies it will have.
Ideas for the show, tips for in the sun flash photography and maybe off camera flashing in the field. I am playing with that these days and it is tough.
Oh, and you guys are AWESOME!! Of course =P
Great show. Thanks for the tips!
Great show. Good to see Matt back.
Another wonderful show. Removing the glare from the glasses was incredible.
Great show as always
Maybe you could do more tips on off camera flash. like the tip Matt did with reflectors , it rocked
Thanks for all you do
Love the show! Keep up the good work!
Great tips this week, guys!
cool
Can you guys talk about digital film emulation?
Hi Guys. Great show (as always.)
I have to check on the updates to CS6 and LR4. Can’t wait to see what’s new and amazing.
Because of you guys I become addicted to photography . Do you have any cure for that ???
when are you guys coming to australia??????
You are right! i love Bill, every time I watch him I am just amazed!! Thanks
Good show guys. Best thing about having an AppleTV is seeing a new episode of DTown show up
Great show guys. It would be nice to see some more of your pictures on the show with a bit of an overview about how you created the shot. Also would like some short snippets on the different flash modes on Canon speedlites and what modes to use for different subject types and situations, and how to get the best from flash settings. Love the show as always.
Good show guys. Curious about the reason to go live.
I enjoy watching your show since I just recently herd of it and acquired my first DSLR. I just recently finished watching all the previous episodes and was wondering if you guys could present some tips for using and choosing extension tubes and teleconverters.
Great show and informative. Loved the saturation comments. Question: custom white balance set at a location, when raw image is process and I let the software compute the white balance I get a particular kelvin setting, the photo looks a little different, but not much, as a use this venue often, could I just set the kelvin and skip the custom white balance. thanks for your reply.
Thanks for the useful tips once again guys!
Love the show and recommend it to all my friends.
Thanks for some more great tips, really appreciate it
Keep up the great work
Cheers
Phil.
I really liked the answer re travel question – I sometimes forget to enjoy where I am when trying to get a good image
Great show guys!
Hey- just a thought to carry the glasses thing a bit further- how about some other tips on what to do as far as positioning the subject and lights before taking pictures to avoid reflections.
As a wearer of glasses, whenever people are taking my picture, I always make myself aware of where the lights are and position myself accordingly.

Question about wearing eye glasses and the Basic Hand Holding technique.
1) The D300S has a Viewfinder Diopter Adjustment. Should I be shooting with my glasses on or remove them and have the Diopter adjusted for my eye…?
