Enjoyed it… another entertaining and informative show.
Hay Larry & RC !
I want to “Ona” that bag. What do you say?
Keep up the good show episodes.
Great show
I want that bag pleease !!
Love the bag!!!!!
bleep bleep bloop
Seriously though, why is the camera icon a point-and-shoot if this is a show for DSLR shooters?
Great show, I like that bag
Cool Bag.
another great show
Enjoyed the show as usual. Keep up the good work.
Great Show as Always!!!!
The bag is really cool…
RC, that wasn’t fair to do Motordrive with a 5DMII! The poor thing only has a Digic III processor and wasn’t designed for that… 7D gets 8FPS, but the illustration is still a good one. Also great idea to use a PCMCIA Card Memory Card Reader for increased download speed.
Hey RC & Larry,
Good job on the show – the Live D-town was fun to watch, wish I could have been there!
What? No comments on RC’s voice? Fine, but with Barry White gone, RC… You’ve got an audience waiting!
Thanks Guys!
Doug
Great show.
Great speed demo.
Great show guys!!!!
Love the tips. Great show!
Howdee!!
Great Show Guys!
great show
Another Awesome Show Guys. I really like what u guys did with the cards. U didnt just talk about the cards, you showed us how they worked in the camera and how fast they work too. Larry can u do some cheap shots about backgrounds and some reflectors. I have a Nikon d90 and im starting to shoot some HDR. And my camera is only BKT for three shots. Is there anyway i can BKT for five shots.Maybe u guys can show me. RC love your new book, just waiting for the HDR one lol. P.S. Lovin that bag guys.
Leo- You can’t make the D90 (or my D7000) do more than 3 shots in a bracket. However, you can put it in Aperture mode, set the bracketing order to [-1, 0, +1] and then set the EV to something like -2. Then shoot your bracket, switch EV to +1, and shoot a second bracket. Doesn’t always work but in some tripod circumstances it does work. What I’ve been doing lately is just shooting -2, 0, +2 as my 3 bracketed shots in RAW. There’s some post processing tweaking that can be done to get a -3 out of a -2 RAW shot, and a +3 out of a +2 RAW. Likewise Camera Raw processing can fill in the -1 and +1 slots as well. Hope this helps a bit.
The ONA Bag is sweet!!!
Awesome tips today!!
wow just yesterday checked out the Onabag site, sweet camera bag!! Great show once again!
I never thought of having the model hold the flashlight. You guys are geniuses!
Another great show.
Love the flashlight tip! Shopping for a new one right now!
Thanks for the tip! Might IR work for the flash light?
Handy trick from Larry using a zoom lens that has lens creep.
Great to see you use a Canon again. Nothing against Nikon but for a Digital SLR show it’s great to cover both.
I finally caught up on the episodes and wanted to bring your attention to the fact that when you discussed exposure compensation on the NIkon camera, this is DIFFERENT on Canon. On Canons, when you do exposure compensation, the flash in TTL mode continues to fire at the correct flash exposure. So if you want to underexpose the ambient, you just go -1 or -2 and your subject is still perfectly lit. Canon uses the Flash Exposure Control (FEC) to independently control the flash strength.
Hope this helps.
And of course, a new camera bag is ALWAYS welcome!
Mark
Great show as usual. I’ll have to check the specs on my camera for the write speed to see if I can benefit from the newer cards.
Thank you.
Great show!
Ona Bag is awesome! Much more stylish than my LowePro.
Again a great show!
Great to see you guys finding your feet on the show, just as good as ever.
Hi Guys
Could you talk about Eye-fi cards? Great show!!
Great show, like the mini flashlight thing.
Great show. Nice bag. Fast cards.
Good stuff.
Wow, the bag looks really neat.
I wonder if I can win it.
Who’s paying for the shipment to Japan, though
I dont know why any would use burst mode at <8fps if they can record 30 fps full hd in video mode. More frames and no "I'm getting a bit tired mode".
great show! Thank you guys!
cool bag! want it!
Great show.
Thanks again guys great show
Good show again, gents. Informative, and once again you turn your users on to some useful tips, cool new gear, and impressive artists.
One thing: your set seemed rather dimly lit. Maybe could use a little more light so we can see your faces.
How about doing a segment with a portable lighting (1 or 2 speedlight) set-up on the fly?
Looking forward to Episode 73!
Hi guys,
again a great show. I like your little, cool tips to get things better.
You guys rock:)
Graet Show Guys! I’m addicted to D-Town and all the stuff from Kelby. I can’t live without it;) I wish I could go one day to Photoshop World and meet all of You ! Big Thanks for what U doin guys!
Great show as always & Love Love Love the ONA bag. Keep up the great work.
Guys! Been a loyal fan of D-Town since day one back on the green screen. I’ve been looking for a good medium sized bag for a long time! Ahh!
Also looking for some good internship opportunities if you know of any around the Kelby universe. You guys are inspirational.
Oh yeah, Joey Lawrence is my age and I don’t know how he got the break that he got but I wish I knew guys like him personally. Anyways, you probably haven’t read this far. Love you guys.
Nice show guys, get the cheat sheets closer to the main camera and the floor manager needs to give better direction, But RC and Larry you rock.
Nice prizes!!!
Great tip on the cards! Nice demo.
Brilliant show guys! Keep up the good work.
Really enjoyed the show, guys. The 133x vs 600x comparison tests were hilarious (and useful).
Keep them coming.
Cool stuff, you are the best guys!
Cool stuff, you are the best guys!!!
How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb?
50 – One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, “I could have done
that!”

Hey guys!
Great work as usual. It would be interesting if you would make a tip about jewelry photography too.
Tom
Always look forward to the show. Great job, guys!
Great video, love Joey L’s work.
RC and Larry! Great show as always! I’m always excited to hear your great new ideas
great show and great tips!
ONA BAGS ARE SEXY! Nice tips.
Great tips, as always.
Great stuff. Thanks for the tips.
Wow! Thank you guys! That show was one of the best! Keep up!
RC was showing the buffer light on the Canon when he was talking about the card speeds. Well, one thing I’ve learned time and time again is keep an eye on that light. There are a lot of times I have been too busy watching the action and forget to look at that light before popping the door open. Even if you don’t eject the card, opening that door will cut the transfer off and you will lose any photos not on the card yet.
Just something to keep in mind.
Great tips thanks!!
Gonna keep it simple and honest!
Great show as always and I could really use the awesome Ona bag!
Nice tip on card speeds.
Ona bags – COOL!
Great show!!! (and i want that bag!!!)

I want to Ona bag! Pun intended.
I’ve been looking to own a bag just like that.
Great show guys. BTW, the set seemed a little dark this episode.
Hey RC, how’s about giving away a few of those Lexar 32gb 600x cards?
You guys are awesome. Love the shows, have learned so much and look forward to learning even more.
I also love the Ona bag. Have been looking at it for a long time.
Thanks for all your hard work.
Awesome!!!
love the show and I really want an Onabag
Larry – the local Walgreens didn’t have any rubber bracelets. Complained to my wife when I came home. She said try this, and handed me a wide rubber band from a bunch of asparagus was fixing for dinner. Worked great on the old 18-200. How’s that for a cheaper shot!
Peter- You get an honorary Cheap Shots ‘King for the Day’ award. (Unfortunately I’m too cheap to have actually had someone design the certificate). Still, great (healthy) idea!
Great demo on the cf card speeds, now i want a 600x.
Another great show. Subscribed through iTunes so I never miss an episode.
COOL SHOW….
Great show as always…..
Hey, I recognize that Joey L. guy from the “Nikon Girl” video on youtube. The kid’s got talent!. I’ll take the bag off your hands! Thanks for a great show as always.

Just a little remark : with the new movie player, every time I switch in full screen, the video restarts from the beginning, could you fix that ?
That would very nice because every messages from MacOS triggers a restart if I am in full screen…
Good show by the way.
Great show. Getting better each week.
Great show guys.

Beautiful bag, I would love this! Thanks for the tips!
Great show
love the show. Also want one of those gorgeous bags.
Would LOVE an Ona bag! Great show also.
Great show as always guys!!!!
Just found your show I learned a lot! Thank you!
Great show guys. You new guys rock too!
Great show guys!!
I’ve used the flashlight trick a few times. They also work well for some cool night shot special effects, when using your camera in bulb mode. You can use them to paint in light during your exposure, or have several people in the exposure use them to write a message using light.
Like the bag! I have a backpack that is WAY too heavy. I need to slim my bag down a bit. This looks like a good option.
I came for the bag, not gonna lie. But then I figured I’d check the show out while I was here. Awesome show! I can honestly say I learned quite a bit from it.
Thanks
U are my hero RC.
I love that Union Street Bag and love the show too.
Love DTown. Love Kelby… and Matt and RC…. Everybody… Love the ONA Bag… Big Fan!
Best,
Gus
How am I just now hearing about this D town… Great resource. I had never thought about how the speed of my memory card was affecting my shooting, and the lightbulb trick is pretty cool. I will be subscribing and sending my school photography club your way as well. As for Ona , I went looking several years ago for a “fashionable” camera bag for my wife’s DSLR… Ona was THE only site with good taste…unfortunately they weren’t up and running yet. Great to See they’re doing well now.
Thanks for another great show!
Dave’s tip was pretty awesome.
Great show again.
Sweeeet bag.
Good work! I like it!!
Great show as usual. Learn something every time.
Great show guys, as always!
Could you cover the difference between APS-C (DX) and FullFrame (FX) format size sensor? I’m not talking just about the physical size but also about dynamic range, amount of light it can absorb, depth of field and other stuff starting photographers don’t know about?
BTW I could really use that bag
Nice show
This bag looks great! Go ONA & D-Town!!
Must. Have. Bag.
Great show as always, and that Onabag looks absolutely awesome!
great show as always….. that bag is sweet!
What a smooth show. Great job. And that Ona Bag looks perfect for quick trips.

Another great show RC and Larry. Please throw my name in the draw for the ONA bag.
Good show, great bag!
Great for not only photography gear. I’d pack it full with my sound gear too.
Nice bag!
Waited a couple days to say this! Great show. And further on the flashlight idea, if you flash at your subject it will cause their pupils to constrict reducing the chances of red eye. So it’s dual duty.
Keep em’ coming. Good job.
D-Town is a great show! Thanks to Kelby TV and to all the Kelby Media family that makes it possible to enjoy it every week. Yes ..that Union Street Ranger Ona tan bag could be the Home Sweet Home for my DSLR!
Good tips, and a sweet bag.
Was it just me, or were comments off for a few days?
Thanks for the great show guys from Australia.
Love your show. I am quite new to the photography field. Your show is awesome. I love segments of Cheap Shots.
So glad the comment glitch was fixed. This is what I wanted to post last week:
How am I just now hearing about this D town… Great resource. I will watch more. I Never thought about how the speed of my memory card was affecting my shooting capabilities (I always bought the one on sale)….Also, great tip about the flashlight; I always have issues in low lighting.
As for ona , I went looking several years ago for a “fashionable” camera bag for my wife’s DSLR… Ona was THE only site with good taste…unfortunately they weren’t up and running yet. Hope I can pull the winning straw on this drawing.
Nice bag! I want one. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for extending the comp. I thought I was going insane (more than normal) when I couldn’t find the area to post a message.
You guys rock! RC, please include a segment on remote flash triggers other than pocketwizards. I know Scott demonstrated those in the first couple of seasons. Perhaps on something not everyone might now about them.I love the impact brand I bought from B&H.
Larry, keep up with the great cheap shots, I love that I am not the only tightwad out there!
Very impressive on the ONA bag, I’m saving up for one in case I don’t win but I am crossing my fingers.

Great show guys.
Hi guys! Big fan of the show and the photographers. My parents always told me all I need to do is ask. That said, can I have the Ona bag, please? Hehehe. Hey, I tried. Would love to win it though. Very stylish and has that executive look. No one will even think I have a DSLR inside it. Great job D-Town! More Power!
Thanks for another great show. I always learn something.
I gotta Ona one of those bags-a
Cool show guys. Cool bag as well.
I also have a question.
Do exposure times affect the color in a photograph. For example, you can shoot at let’s say f2.8 @ 1/1000s or f22 @ 1/25s. Will the longer exposure time give more depth in the color than the longer exposure time?
Great info, as always.
Liked the flashlight tip.
Great show guys!
Love the show
Need the Bag!
[...] contest through Sunday, April 24. To participate in the contest, simply watch episode 72 of D-Town TV, post a comment on their website, and like ONA on Facebook. D-Town TV will announce the winner on [...]
I’ve been following the show since the beginning. The “new” guys are doing an excellent job. Your passion for photography comes right through.
I work with a lot of photography locations where we do night shots on tripods where there can be a lot of foot traffic near us. We found that if we mount a Vega umbrella light (it is made to put on your patio umbrella to put light onto your picnic table) that it throws a nice amount of light onto the ground and the tripod legs. This warns people that we are there without spilling light onto our subject.
I like the part on using a cheap flashlight to grab focus. Good job! Nice ONA bag too!
Is that a man crush that I have on RC?
He’s just so suave!
Best-show-ever!!
Ciao from Italy
Thank you guy for doing those tip there great. That is a sweet bag I love to have it

Terrific video, chock full of useful information and tips.
Looks like a deam bag for photographer!
Great show!
Great show and I really appreciated the Card speed segment…thanks!!
Terrific show. I love the “flashlight” tip and RC’s explaination & demonstration regarding speed of memory cards. I was wondering why my D7000 was slowing down with rapid fire. Also, great looking, practical Ona bag. Larry, what lens do you have on your D7000?
great tips as always
real nice camera bag for only free if I win it,
Thanks for another great show! Quick question… the speed difference example when shooting still images is now obvious, but what about when shooting video? Does the card speed have a direct impact on video capabilities?
Good job!
Great show guys. See ya September in Las Vegas. bc

Hi Guys,

Since you have been using your IPAD a lot, I would like to see a review/demo of the Eye-Fi card with the ShutterSnitch app for IPAD. I have already seen your segment that talks about easyrelease but I would really love to see how ShutterSnitch with Eye-Fi. I have tried using Morzilla and everything else to watch your shows–still no success! I have tried to contact you guys several times about this issue , which has gone on for about a year now. I can play Youtube and just about anything else but you guys—CAN YOU HELP?
