Good work guys… Great show.
Good show. I look forward to it every week.
Always great tips, and good refresher course on camera techniques and cheap shots.
Hey Larry & RC,
I would love to see David Ziser do a demo on how to set the custom C1, C2, C3 settings on a Canon D40. Thanks!
I look forward to each week, great show.
Once again you guys have given me more inspiration and great tools to use! Thanks
RC and Larry your doing a great job hosting the show – well done.
Again a terrific show. Dave’s use of a iPad as a remote will be playing havoc with my budget as I have been putting off buying one. He did not provide any viable purchase excuses one can provide their respective spouse. Hmmm, there’s a theme for another show!
nice!
TDown is fy shavorite mow. Gove you luys!!!
Hi guys!
Great show as usual. I especially liked the tip from David Ziser. Is it possible to get David Tejada to do a tip for the show about industrial photography or corporate portraits?
Keep up a good work
Tomislav
Dave Cross’ segment was outstanding. David Ziser is amazing and RC and Larry are great fun.
Thanks for another excellent show!
Hey Larry and RC.Of course we love the show;it inspires us and teaches.Could you guys go over double exposure and image overlay.I know it was touched on briefly last year but it was too short a lesson.I don’t get the desired results with my D7000.Either the exposure or gain settings mess things up.Thanks.That dvd/book combo sure would help me also.
Jay

Aloha,
Good job! What was the favorite tool that RC referred to?
Great Like always
Another great show on everything photographic. Agree ’bout the umbrella – it’s the most inexpensive, adaptable and easy to use modifier out there! Thanks

Good show.
Awesome, I learn something new everytime I watch you guys!
Stuff I never leave home without
My Ranger Quadra with easyfoldable umbrella
Loved the show this week guys.
A great photographer pair that I’ve come across are Marc & Louis http://www.marcandlouis.com/
They did a Star Wars shoot recently which was fantastic, but I discovered them about 6 months ago.
Highly recommended
RC & Larry, Hope to see you soon
Great show guys! Since you had the color correction card in front of you, I wonder if you could have a show about color correction in photoshop using this multi-color card.
Great show as always!!!
Great show! I would like some strobist tips too.
This show is great. Love to have the Scott’s book.
RC & Larry:
Good tips
Thanks
Bob
Great show, what about more Nikon Specific tips?
Best episode yet!
Great show guys. What’s up with the color checker passport on the table?
Loved the iPad tip — any app recommendations are great.
What was the “Wescott 48″ that RC referred to?
Is it an umbrella?
I liked Larry’s tip about shooting background stock shots for future composite work. I try to get several of these every time I’m out shooting. You never know when you’ll need one and it’s nice to have it in your library.
John

Thank you !!
–Tom
Great Show. Keep em coming
Great lead on the brolly!
Love to have the recipes…
As always great show!
Another fantastic show guys. Great tip from Larry with the Umbrella \ Softbox conversion, I’ve seen that before and haven’t tried it yet, but I think I’ll have to now. RC mentioned his must have tool, didn’t quite hear it, think it was a softbox? Maybe you guys could have shown a pic of it?
D. Zisser had a great tip too, never tried using the custom functions, but they do seem to be handy.
And the IPad App, great stuff, got to get one of those.
Keep up the good work
I don’t know if you have anything to do with it, or if it is just an issue with the Itunes people. Half the time the episode doesn’t download until 2 or even 3 weeks later.
I have the same problem, and it quite frustrating.
Awesome show as always! Loved, LOVED the iPad app!
Also, for a future show, could you possibly cover topics of syncing pictures from two or more cameras? For example, my wife and I shoot events together and we struggle with syncing photos at the end of the day while post processing them, making sure the sequence of the pictures are correct.
Any pointers you can provide on that would be much appreciated!
I do that all the time. I use 2 cameras, but same for 2 SHOOTERS. FIRST, set both clocks in your cameras at exactly the same time. You will be lucky to get it within 30 sec. It takes several attempts, but just change one. Doesn’t matter if the Real time is exact, just that both cameras agree. Then simply import all photos into one folder and in Bridge, or Windows Explorer (not browser) or Mac whatever cataloging software, choose : Sort > date shot. Or similar and they will sort according to the exif data which has the time in it. Then the key is to NOW rename in a number sequence so they stay that way. I’ll often have one camera on a remote with say, a fisheye at ground level or whatever, and a tele on a monopod nearby from a different angle. This tip brought to you by Jock Goodman
Why didn’t you show us the 28 inch Westcott Apollo? The way Larry laughed, I think you were looking at something else!
Good show all around.
Great Show Guys…
way cooollll guys…..
Another great show. Like the way you change up the format a little each week.
What are your 3 must have lenses and why¿
I’m not a beginner, but I always watch your show!
Thanks guys!
I am retired and would love to go to Photoshop World to see all of my Photoshop Hero’s !
good as always
ANother good show…..thanks
Good show! It makes my week!
Any chance you guys will have any Olympus 4/3s shooters come on an talk about photography?
thanks fellas
great show!
great to see you guys back….
Another great show!
Couldn’t quite hear what RC’s must-have pick was. Mind clarifying on the next show?
I’ve told friends and members of my Photo club( lakecountycameraclub.org) about your wonderful video series.
FYI: I won’t be able to attend Photoshop World.
I like the tip about the Impact 60″ Umbrella. The ti[ was so good that when I tried to order it was out of stock…Keep up the good work
Best show yet from you guys. You both seem to be getting more comfortable in the new roles
It would have been nice to see what RC’s must have item was, only takes a second to show a picture.
Keep up the good work.
great show!
Hi guys,
Great show! What´s up with the passport on the table?
Hey guys, another great show. Send me to PSW
please. ffm
Love the show..Thanks for all you do…
Another Great Show! You guys rule!
Love the new show! Great job. The hands on demos are great.
Good tip on the custom function settings.
Even though you still have great tips on the show, it seems to be more advertisement then show lately
great show
Great tip on the umbrella. Like to see more and maybe spend some time shooting with it.
Great show!!!
you guy’s have got Dtown running at a faster clip…
good work.
Could you cover tricky white balance situations like that of a sun set?
Another Great show
Great show guys! So I wanted to ask how you can wear BLACK shirts/jackets in Florida for goodness sake? You must roast when you go out into the sun.
Too Cool!
Thanks
I really love your show. I’m a 16 year old photographer and it will be wonderful if I win the contest and improve my photography skills.
great show as usual, just the right amount of info per week thank you guys
Love the show
Great show as always
Hi Guys, You are Awsome. I told my friends about you, and the love your show to.
Thanks
Great Show.
Does the onOne app work with tablets other than the iPad?
Maybe in the future?
Really enjoyed DZ’s tip. Thanks.
Great show. Thanks.
Hi guys, great show as always, would love to win the books please.
You guys are doing a great job!
Hi Guys,
Another great show but I thought you were going to mention about the X-Rite Colour Checker Passport as it was there centre stage. How about doing something about colour profiles in a future show?
Great as usual.
Great show. I use my custom settings for HDR. Makes for a quick setup.
Hi Guys,
I really enjoy the show.
Love Dave’s tip on the iPad app.
Something iv’e been wondering. Is there any way to shoot tethered to an iPad using the camera’s usb cable and the camera connector available for iPad as a more portable option for shooting tethered while on a location shoot?
Keep up the good work Larry and RC.
Great show!
Great show guys, but in the style of cheap shots, there is a way to get ipad tethering to Lightroom for free. See my blog post at http://stephendurkinphotography.co.uk/?p=87
Awesome show, would’ve liked to see the softbox RC liked best.
I’d love it if you could do a segment about cropping and composition while taking a photo. Scott Kelby and other instructors always talk about cropping in the camera, but since the aspect ratio isn’t the same for print, what’s the best way to shoot for pint?
great show
how about a book on the most useful ipad / android apps
Another great episode. I hope that this series can go on and on. Thanks
Another great episode. Hope that it will go on forever.
Another great show. Thanks guys.
Another great show. Looks like you are both getting comfortable with the show. Color checker info is good idea. I would like to know about camera profiles to improve color rendering in studio product shots. I could come to PSW from Brandon, FL on a moments notice–just in case you were wondering
Great show guys.
any chance you can create a kelby training app for the dlink boxee box?
Great tips informative episode.
Thanks guys! Lots of great tips this time too!
Another excellent job!
Thanks for the show. BTW, what were the names of those two guys that used to host this show? LOL
Well done
Great shot guys !
The Cheap Shots part is awesome : i went to New York last year but taking pictures of strange locations for my backgrounds was totally forgotten
IPad demo was great – now all I need is the iPad;-)
great show.thanks
Great tip from Mr. Z about custom settings. Now I want an iPad! LOL
Great show this week
Great tip on the ‘softbox’ umbrella. Didn’t think of that.
I love your show. I didn’t understand what was RC’s favorite piece of equiptment. You didn’t show us anything and he swallowed his words.
Great Show!! Found it online a few weeks back and just managed to watch all the episodes on itunes. Watching through the series it was interesting to see that you seemed to focus on canon and nikon lenses and did not seem to look at any other suppliers such as Sigma. Would be great to see you guys do a segment on such. For example, a canon 70-200 f2.8 IS would retail at £1795 but a sigma 70-200 f2.8 OS would retail around £949. How much extra quality are you getting for double the price?
Keep up the good work!
thanks
PLEASE fix the fullscreen/window HD toggle! It’s the most frustrating thing in the world! If you’re in HD in “window mode” then go to fullscreen, HD is turned off automatically and the whole video must reload and start over again. The same goes in the reverse of these settings/screen views.
cool- show and with duck tape you can also make a new camera bag!
Thanks for another informative show.
Byron
Great show!
Great show as always. Why do you have the Colorchecker Passport on the desk?
A lot of great tips in this show! Hmm… that OnOne remote app made me almost want to get an ipad.
Wow that show went by quick. Was it shorter than usual?
Great show guys, keep up the good work. A couple of interesting tips today that are useful. Thanks !
Great show guys
Thanks again for all of the tips! David Ziser is a wizard! I never miss checking out his blog.
great show
Thanks for the tips
Nice tips
great show guys, as always!! wish i was at PSW right now.
Great show again!
great show thank you.
You guys rock!
Great show, I would like some tips to take photos with flash and get it nicely blended with natural light
Great that you are back! Appreciated!
Hi guys! Absolutely love your show. You are the best!
Great Show! But why is it not available directly in iTunes here in Germany!?
I love your show!
Great show. Duct tape wins!
Thank You guys…I love how You teach us some of your technics….
Another great show guys. Thank for the umbrella tip Larry.
Love the Cheap Shots!
Hi guys, lok the shirt
HI Guys
How about links to the two light modifiers you talked about on this episode.
Thanks
Always tell my friends about you guys.
love the show
Cool show as usual……
Was thinking about the iPad, now I just might have to go get one!
Wow ! Thank you for your work!
Hey you guys rock
(sorry, couldn’t come up with something better this time!!)
D-Town is the bomb. I havn’t missed an episode.
Awesome show as usual…wanting to get into Wedding photography…I use Nikon and thinking of getting the 70-200 lens…I have 50mm, 85mm and 55-200. Can you give me any advise for Weddings.?
I hope you will fix the Flash Player’s bugs sooner, they are really bothering!
1) Switching between Full Screen and Normal Screen starts the movie from the beginning.
2) I can not move to the parts of movie which is not loaded yet, like last 3 minutes of video. (make it the way Youtube is)
3) Switching to Full Screen should not always switch between HD and non-HD. I set Video to HD, wait for it to be loaded, then I will switch to Full Screen to watch it, and it will switch the video to non-HD, though I’m in Full Screen mode!
4) During the advertisement, Volume bar doesn’t work, and it will just forward you to the advertisement link.
Great tips!
Great stuff ya all!
Great show guys. Hey Larry, I found a windshield sun block at Menards for $2.00 and use that as a light deflector. That’s my Cheapshots moment.
Great stuff from Dave.
Really liked the idea of closing down the umbrella to make it like a softbox.
Thanks Guys
Great show Guys!
Nice done guys
Great Show again!
I really enjoyed the info on new app for ipad/ipod for wireless shooting. thanks
Interesting tips this week.
Enjoyed the demo by Dave Cross. I was almost expecting Larry’s tip in NY to talk about longer exposure to elimate people his photos for backgrounds.
Loved your thoughts on the one pice of equipment you couldn’t live without
YEA
Greetings from Norway.
You are great !!!
Great Show
Can you show use how to set the C1, C2, C3 on the camera?
Looks like my first post somehow vanished from the board. So I’ll try again.
Great show and tips as always.
Gret show guys!
Good Show.
Good show. Suggestion – whenever you talk about something, show it. It’s nice that the web reference shows up, but a still of the item would be a nice addition.
great job!!!!!!!!!!!!
you guys are good
Great to always hear new ideas to use.
I love this show!!!
Another wonderful show guys
Thanks for another great show guys!
great show, but I kept looking at the camera body on the shelf next to RC thinking…man that mirror is gonna get dusty sitting there with no cap on!!
Hey I started reading Moose’s book and he talked briefly about capturing star trails by shooting multiple pics and combining them…can you show us how to do that??
Another good show. Dave sure knows how to get maximum use of his Ipad. Can you tell me why you all use Apple computers?
Hi guys;
I hope you are doing fine. I am just wondering if you can talk a little bit about action in Photoshop.
I have no idea what it is.
Thanks in advance
Great show guys many thanks
Great show guys
Another great ep, just don’t forget there are shooters that don’t use nikon
Good Job
episode has not arrived yet in iTunes
Dave did a great job showing off the capabilities of the IPad. Wish I had one. Another good show.
How about demonstrating the use of a light meter to record the best “gray” for a scene. In a landscape, for example, what do the big names normally take a reading of? I’ve read one author who suggested metering the sky above a scene rather than measuring the light coming off a field of corn, for an example. How prevalent is this and who teaches what?
Great show.
I have posted comments but don’t see my comments when I come back to read some of the comments. Sometimes they show up and sometimes they don’t. Why?
Damn, you guys are slow in posting the new episodes! Sitting in central Africa and cant wait….so whats the delay
What were the model numbers for the umbrella from b&h and for the FJ Westcott? Thanks
Great Show!
THANKS for the another great show !!
Great work.
I know how hard it is to get tickets to Oprah or Ellen; how about tickets for D-Town or The Grid?
GOOD JOB.
Great show, it is just too short. Would love to win the books. Photoshop world will be my next adventure next year.
Hi Guys great show as always, Cheers from Australia !!!
I like the laid back atmosphere on your show.
Nice job.
Great show
Thanks RC and Larry. Great episode!
control your camera on ipad / iphone. it was awesome! Thanks
Great show, loved the camera settings slot with David.
Keep it up guys, the show is full of great ideas, hints and tips.
Great shot! Love the suggestion of shooting random backgrounds. I have a friend who does that to capture textures for her pastel paintings. Great demo of the iPad software as well.
great show !!!
Another great show.
I love you guys and have learned so much. Would love to win these books.
Thanks Guys
Great Job! Thanks for the tips.

Thanks
Thanks for all the great tips guys.
Great show. Always telling new club members at our local photo club about it.
I am unable to view your shows, on website or itunes
This is the first “post-Kelby” episode of Dtown that I’ve watched.
I like it!
Another good show. Thanks for the effort.
thanks guys always learn from your shows!!
Awesome!
Could you guys do more gears review?

Much better show then last time.
Yeah!
Guys…can you do a feature on flashes, the basics.
What is a guide number telling me, what is iTTL etc…
Good show.
Good show as always.
Could you guys talk about doing time-lapse stuff?
Great episode!
Great episode as usual. I just wonder when it will show up in iTunes since I have all of the episodes on my iPhone and iPad.
Thanks guys. It would have been nice to see some examples of Larry’s New York foto montages.
Thanks guys!
Hey Guys… pretty informative video….!! Nice..
Yes guys… you are great and you look great, specialy when we see you right in line with the pictures frames behind you.
Can you post the episodes on iTunes?
Thanks.
This show is awesome. Got lots of great tips and it really helps. Thanks.
Nice Show, it’s a little off putting cutting to cameras that you great presenters are not looking at, and staying for such a long time. Do you have a floor manager? Also those cutaways are rather short. Is it recorded ‘As Live’ with switching? or ‘Edited post’? Great tips.
I will continue to share this podcast with all may creative friends, keep up the great tips, and sort out the shots, please.
Great episode, but it just barely showed up in iTunes. I gather the episode was shot some time last week, considering you were giving away stuff for photoshopworld…also last week. I usually forget to go directly to the website because these episodes just download automatically to iTunes, which I have open every day.
Thanks guys.
Love your stuff.
Great show guys.
Hey Guys,
Great show, I love watching it, but it would be super nice to be able to go back and forth between full screen without the whole episode starting over. Please help!
I really love your show. It seems to be shorter than before though. My only dislike is that you are not showing as much about the Canon cameras as you are about the Nikons. I can only assume that Nikon gives you more money than Canon. As you have probably guessed I only have a Canon camera. That’s all I can affored, but I really love mu Canon 50D. Yes, I’m going to continue to watch your show. It’s very entertaining and informative. Thank You.
RC, please do not follow Scott in wearing dark clothing. There isn’t enough contrast in the image for the things you are presenting to us.
You guys rock!
keep up the good work.
I believe what RC mentioned in the end was the 28 in. Recessed Apollo http://tinyurl.com/ycbf6vt
[...] http://kelbytv.com/dtowntv/2011/03/28/episode-69/ [...]
Good work. More Canon tips, please.
you guys are awesmoe !
Great show guys!
Sometimes I think RC is speaking a bit too fast. For us who don´t speak english primary it can be a little tricky.
I am new to DSLR. I found this web site today and can’t put it down. I’ve watched all your shows. Very well done! I have both photoshop and lightroom and am looking to take things to the next step, all because of what I’ve seen here on your website.
Thanks
Bob
