Great tip on templates. What are plugins and how do you use them. I see them but do not understand them or their use. I have seen free plugins as well as ones for purchase.

Question: Why is it that sometimes all of the filters are not available. My case in point, this weeks black and white NAPP online tutorial is about creative black and white. There is a step where they use the artistic and diffuse filters. Both of these are greyed out on my computer. THis is incredibly frustrating. Any insight would be very helpful. Thanks.
